With Storybrooke facing a rather dedicated situation right now, current events called for a town meeting. Most of the residents were scared, not knowing what to think, granted their world was now crawling with strangers that hid mainly in the woods. But what scared them the most was a man that called himself Mr.Hyde. He claimed that Storybrooke was his now, ultimately taking over Regina's office and claiming himself to be the new mayor. This was unsettling for the people. Unsettling because they were faced with a question: If Regina failed as the ruler of the city, how fit was she to take it back anyway? And besides? What did this man want? What were his intentions? How dangerous was he? Agitated, the people began to enter the town meeting room, a place that could fit a whole audience there. Hyde seemed to be temporarily gone, so the huge auditorium became available, even though nobody knew for how long. And despite the fact it wasn't exactly safe, it was the only place that could fit so many people inside. Slowly, they began to take their seats, waiting for the three people that had assembled the meeting: Emma, Regina, and Mary Margaret. Emma because she was the Savior and everyone turned to her in times of need. Mary Margaret because she was Snow White, someone that people were used to follow and that always managed to calm down the waters. And Regina, which until then had been the town's Mayor.

In the hours before, Regina had poured her heart to Emma, opening up and telling her how nervous this meeting truly made her feel. Not only this was their first public appearance as a couple, but Regina knew she was about to get inside a huge crossfire once she stepped inside that room. Most of the town folks still had doubts regarding her path of redemption and now more then ever they were doubting her leadership and her ability to keep them safe, specially now that Mr.Hyde seemed to be running the show. However and despite the fact that all these ingredients made The Queen highly uncomfortable, she wasn't going to back down from this, much less chicken out. It wasn't part of her nature. And besides, it wasn't the first time she would face an enraged population in Storybrooke.
The people sat down, while Regina, Emma and Mary Margaret waited in a back room, for the right time to step in. The Queen had a hold on Emma's hand, not even hiding that from Snow, that would picture straight away that they were already together. Releasing some huffs here and there, Regina looked around nervously. Dr.Hopper finally came to them. "It's time. And let me assure you. It's not an easy audience out there." Regina looked at him. "Let's get this over with." Slowly, turning to Emma and Snow, she nodded firmly and slowly let go of Emma's hand after a last squeeze. Then, it was like her whole body and facial expression shifted, determination all over her as she walked out of the waiting room and into the main stage where a table was waiting for all three of them. As she was now visible to the audience, she began to hear the whispers that began to grow, even though she couldn't quite figure out what people were saying. With her usual and gracious posture, she took a seat right in the middle of the table, leaving the chairs to her left and right, empty, where Emma and Mary Margaret would sit next to her.

Everyone thought that he was out of town. Perfect. That was exactly what he needed. He kept hidden from the audience and from the table, listening from a distance in yet another back room. He had a smirk on his lips that simply grew bigger when he realized how the people were whispering. They were not pleased with Regina and they were scared. He would stay hidden until the right moment came. For now he had some people there on his side that would surely put more wood into the fire: Jefferson and Charlotte.
He remained silent watching and listening to how everything would unfold. The circus was about to start.

Mary Margaret sat in one of the chairs in the back room as everyone else gathered out in the main room. Her eyes watching her Daughter and Regina with wonder that she wouldn't question right now, no she would keep her nose on her face where it belonged right now.
Instead she wondered why she was going to say to keep the townspeople from jumping down Regina's neck. Whenever they were scared she was the first to get blamed. While yes she had been the person behind most of their fears... she had been working hard to be better. Something that Mary Margaret had taken note of and felt good about it.

If there is one thing Killian was sure he would rather be doing it’s being here when his heart was still torn in pieces, but that was it wasn’t it and as much as he wanted to he couldn’t really avoid either of them forever. Not in this town anyway. Even if he tried. Nothing could stop the nervousness that eradiated from him, and he sure as hell couldn’t have stopped himself from staring if he tried, but quickly averted his eyes away, what it was wasn’t worth it. He came for a reason that was all he was telling himself.
Sure as hell he could hear everyone whisper and whether he was bothered or not would have told them to shut up for some damned time, it wasn’t like this was a planned thing to have everything go south. He sure as hell just stayed quiet, non plus and his emotionless mask on his face.

Regina's eyes darted around the audience, most of all being familiar faces, while others were people she barely saw around. She saw Robin, she saw Hook, and for a moment there she wasn't even sure if they were there to support her or to take the side against her, not after everything that happened. Her straight face stayed on, while Emma and Mary Margaret took their respective seats next to her.
Dr.Hopper made his opening speech, explaining the reason why all of them were there. And that was when the trouble started. People began to speak all at the same time, more like protesting, Archie trying to bring peace to the massive conversation and failing at it. Regina closed her eyes, already extremely annoyed at this. "Enough!" Her voice echoed through the room, everyone shutting up, at least until Grumpy stood on his feet, his finger pointing at Regina. "And why should we listen to you? You can't even control who comes in and out of this town. Some Evil Queen you are." Regina locked eyes with him, about to snap. She held it together though, at least for the time being.

Robin Hood
A town meeting was announced earlier in the day and everyone in Storybrooke was attending to it. Including Robin himself. Storybrooke was his home and like everyone else, worried about Dr. Hyde. The town of Storybrooke had every reason to be worried about him. The thief had seen what the man could do just with his bare hands. Robin could still feel the male hand around his own throat, but worst, seeing Hyde finish what he started to Regina.
Robin jaw clenched tightly as Regina name crossed his mind once again. A name that seem to echo through his thoughts whenever. The same women that broke up with him due to liking another. At the time Robin didn't know what to do but the only thing that seemed right was to give the Queen what she wanted. To be let go. The thief let her go, and it left him feeling broken from it.
Leaning against the back wall from everyone and close to the door, Robin kept his eyes focused on task. Dr. Hyde. As Dr. Hopper gave a good speech, everyone attention moved to Regina as Grumpy pointed a finger at her. "She-" That Sentence of defending her died off in a whisper. He was use to being next to her. Protecting her, but now, what was the point? The thief crossed his arms over his chest and stayed quiet.

Jefferson Hatter
The hatter whom sat within the current mayors office was enjoying a cup of tea, earlier he had heard news of the towns plans for a public statement about the new comer whom called himself Hyde. Which put a smirk upon his face when he showed up within due favor to Mr.Hyde, whom seemingly everyone thought was out of town. Kicking back within the office chair he set his feet upon the desk as he rested his cup of tea upon his stomach as his eyes looked over at Hyde, raising an eyebrow he sipped upon his tea. "You should come, have a listen...I'm sure you could use the information." he replied, as he raised his eyebrows, nodding his head in his direction. "Besides....you have the matter of surprise on your end, everyone thinks you're out of town. No one would blink twice, and think it's you." he gave a half chuckle as he swirled the remaining liquid within his cup. Sitting straight up he then placed his feet back down upon the floor and set his tea cup upon the desk, straitening up he walked over to Hyde whom was watching everyone scurry over to the center of town to the vast building that they usually held town meetings. "I know you want to listen in, why not come with me?" he replied, stepping about half an inch closer towards Hyde with a smirk and barely leaning in so he could whisper into his ear. "After all, it's rude to gossip behind someone's back. Even if they are /out/ of town." he replied with a chuckle as he shook his head, and then took off his top hat and placed it upon the floor. "Shall we? We have a meeting to catch." he stated as he flicked his fingers and the hat began to spin, opening the portal to his hat to a back room within the meetings halls. This meeting was just about to get interesting.
Upon stepping out of the hat with Mr.Hyde he told him he would try and rattle the crowd a bit more with impossible questions to our savior team of dwindling heroes, as he bid Mr.Hyde a farewell for now as he himself walked down a few halls and into the crowded room, there he saw the sight of a town crumbling to pieces, all because of one man. Straitening his hat upon his head he slowly walked in and sat within the center of the whispering crowd until the meeting would start, a smug grin was evident upon his face as he watched in amusement at the chaos that was happening around him. When Dr.Hopper began to explain why this meeting had been placed everyone around him then quieted and then all at once erupted in questions on who the new comer was and why he was now town mayor. Letting the crowed get heated a bit more he sat back in observant before he would add to their questions, enjoying the view of the restless saviors up front as they tried to quite the audience down, Regina yelling at the all to quite down and yet they hadn't but a few. "Alright, Alright!" he bellowed at the crowd around them, some turning to him in a angry manner as he then had the crowd focused on him. "We can't all have questions if we keep shouting them all at the same time, we all know how town meetings work. One question at a time folks, or nothing with get done about the problem concerning, Mr.Hyde." he told the crowd as he waved his hand, looking at everyone within the room and then holding his hands up at the savior crowd, as if giving the attention back to them. "They are all yours." he remarked with a bit of sass, as he then sat back down within his chair and the some what settled down crowd, until the questions would erupt once again.

He kept watching everything as the door was lightly open. There was a sense of satisfaction when realizing that people were already speaking their minds when it came to Regina. But this was not the right time to make an appearance. Not yet. He kept observing. Grumpy kept questioning the Queen about who the new comer was. The crowd was becoming divided. Some still thought that Regina was fitting to rule town, while others wondered if someone else should be in charge. He kept waiting for the right moment. Which was almost coming. Just some more minutes of discussion.

Regina kept throwing glares at the dwarf and boy, how she had to bite her tongue not to call him exactly that. Her gaze shifted to Jefferson as he seemed to be trying to calm the heat inside that room. However, little did the Queen know that he was actually on Hyde's side and that what he was doing was actually a big fat act. Grumpy glared at Jefferson and soon the room became a little less noisy, the dwarf shifting his eyes back to the Queen. "Alright, your majesty. What can you tell us about Mr.Hyde?" He practically shouted his question, with his usual aggressive tone of voice. Tapping her nails against the table, Regina straightened up her neck, her head tilting lightly to the side. "Well. We know that he and the people that came with him came from The Land Of The Untold Stories." She said as her eyes and nods went to Emma and Hook who had been the ones to find out this piece of information. She proceeded to explain what that land was all about and when she was done, Grumpy asked her yet another question. "And this Mr.Hyde? What can you tell us about him?" Once again, Regina told them what she knew about him, information she gathered from a book that Belle had borrowed her. Again, people seemed unsettled. Grumpy continued. "So you're saying that who took over our town and put you out of charge is some evil alter ego of some doctor?" At this point, people began whispering again, not feeling safe at all with that piece of information. "Order!" Archie begged from them, even though he was being highly ignored by everyone. "Well I say that nothing good ever comes from you ruling this town, Madame Mayor." Grumpy slayed it and that was when Regina lost her shit. "Know your place, Dwarf!" Raising up from the chair, she slammed both her hands against the table which caused everyone to shiver on their seats, wondering if the worst side of Regina was now coming back to the surface. "Where were you when Hyde first came into town? Drowning your sorrows back in the mines with your pointy axes and your sad lullabies?"

It seemed that the divide and conquer plan was taking effect. And it also seemed that Regina was loosing her temper which did not help one bit her situation. When she slammed her hands against the table Hyde could see the look in everyone's faces. They were scared that the evil queen could step out any minute. So now it was the right time to finally step out of his hideout.
"Please allow me to say my piece in this discussion."
He stepped out and held his arms behind his back. "After all if we are here to discuss my true intentions in town you might as well hear it from me." He walked towards the table and positioned himself in front of it. His back was facing the table as he spoke to the crowd in front of him. He opened his arms to the side. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mr.Hyde."
People seemed confused around the audience. Also scared. He moved his arms back down and folded them again behind his back.

Robin kept his back up against the wall as he watched the towns people face Regina. Grumpy making it seem worst as he pointed the finger at her like he normally did. Though who could blame him? She did have the title of Evil Queen. Everyone here feared her one way or another in the past. Maybe some even still did, but Robin didn't. He didn't see a point in fearing a women he loved, even with what happened between them. Keeping his eyes down, Robin heard Regina slam her hands down on the table, her voice dropping toward Grumpy. The Thief hands clenched against his ribs as they were crossed over his chest. He would of pulled her back if he was standing next to her, but he wasn't. The air changed in a instant as someone walked in the room. The person everyone believed was out of town. Dr. Hyde. Robin looked up, his eyes locked on the male as he walked in the room without a care in the world as he took a stand in front of the table, introducing himself. The fear was thick in the room fast. The man that almost killed Regina herself was in the room. Robin hand moved to his bow which was over his shoulder. This wasn't going to be good. For anyone.

Post by Emma Swan on Apr 24, 2017 3:07:25 GMT
It was the day of the town meeting and to say that Emma was feeling nervous would be an understatement, but she tried her best not to show it. A lot had happened in the last few days. She broke up with Killian and now she was dating Regina. Never would she have ever thought that she would be dating Regina but here she was. This would be their first public appearance as an official couple and she was a bit worried about how people would take that. What would the townspeople think when they found out that "The Savior" was now dating "The Evil Queen"~? But Regina wasn't like that anymore. She had changed and Emma knew that. Some of the townspeople still had their doubts on whether or not she had truly changed and the blonde knew that they would lash out at Regina and try to blame her for Hyde taking over the town. Even so, they both knew that this meeting needed to be held and that was why both of them had assembled the meeting along with Mary Margaret. The people were restless and scared of Hyde and what his intentions were which none of them could hardly blame them for. It was up to the three women to reassure the townspeople that everything would be okay and that they would take down Hyde, and they would. It was only a matter of time.
Standing in the back room with Regina and Mary Margaret, Emma tried to calm her jittery nerves. She held Regina's hand as she listened to the commotion of the townspeople as they entered and sat down, talking amongst themselves as they waited for the meeting to commence. Her eyes fell on her mother, seeing the wonder in her eyes as she stared down at Emma and Regina's intertwined hands. She was still surprised that Mary Margaret was so supportive of their relationship, especially considering her past with Regina, but she was also happy that her mother approved of her relationship with Regina. Archer gave his introductory speech, informing the people as to why they were all gathered here and Emma listened intently from the back room. Regina gave a couple huffs and she gave the other woman's hand a light squeeze. After finishing his speech, Archie made his way into the back room where the three women were waiting, telling them that it was time to start the meeting and Emma released a soft sigh. It was time. Nodding back at Regina, she felt her release her hand as she turned and walked out onto the main stage. Emma walked out onto the large stage with Regina and Mary Margaret, taking a seat on the right side of the madame mayor. Blue eyes gazed out at the crowd of people who had gathered for the meeting. It was long before her gaze landed on Robin who was leaning against the back wall by the door. Then her eyes drifted away from Robin and landed on Hook. A pang of guilt emanated from within her chest. Her gaze lingered on him for a moment more before looking away as she looked out at the crowd as a whole. People began speaking up at once, throwing questions at them and demanding answers. Then Regina's voice rang through the room and everyone fell silent, at least momentarily. Grumpy suddenly stood up, pointing an accusing finger at Regina as he spoke up and once again Emma sighed as she listened to his words. And so it began. She only hoped that Regina would be able to keep it together. The last thing she wanted was for the madame mayor to lose her temper as it would not help the situation. They all needed to be calm.
A voice suddenly spoke up causing the crowd to go quiet as they turned towards the source of the voice. Emma followed their gazes to see Jefferson sitting in the center of the crowd. She listened as he spoke to the crowd, trying to calm them which he managed to do somewhat. Grumpy spoke up again, asking Regina what she knew about Hyde. The blonde's gaze drifted to Regina as she spoke up, telling him that he came from the Land of Untold Stories along with the other newcomers and she nodded her head in confirmation when Regina turned to looked at her. The grumpy dwarf then went on to ask what she knew about Hyde himself and she listened as Regina explained what she found out about him. She had already told Emma about this. It was strange to think that some guy's alter ego had invaded Storybrooke and seemingly took over, but at this point it was hardly surprising what with everything she had seen since coming to Storybrooke. People began whispering amongst themselves and even as Archie called for order, it did little good. The town's citizens were not the slightest bit calm by this information. When Grumpy spoke up yet again, Regina finally lost her temper and shouted out at him. Placing her hand on top of Regina's she gave it a light squeeze as she looked at her. "Calm down, Regina. Getting angry won't do any good," she murmured softly to the other woman. Then Emma stood up, facing the crowd as she began to speak. "None of this is Regina's fault. She's not the one who brought him here," she pointed out, eyes darting around the crowd as they all looked at her. "Things may seem bad right now but we will find a way to take down Hyde. We always do."
All of a sudden, the doors burst open and none other than Mr. Hyde strode into the room. The room became deadly quiet as the source of their fears made his way across the room towards the table where the three women were before turning to face the crowd as he spoke out to them. Emma's whole body tensed, her expression hardening as she looked at Hyde. Of course he was still here, lurking around in the shadows. Watching them all. Her gaze shifted to Regina and Mary Margaret before shifting to Hook and Robin, watching as Robin reached for his bow, ready to attack. She wasn't sure how the next few minutes would unfold but when it came to Hyde, she knew that it wouldn't be good.

Jefferson Hatter
Sitting with his arms folded across his chest amongst the heated argument on whom was going to rule the town, Jefferson became a bit bored as he sat there. He knew he should do something to rile up the crowd even more so he stood up from his seat once again as he raised a hand up within the air as if he were to ask a question, in which he was. "How can we believe in any of you when Regina nearly was killed by this Hyde guy? If she didn't bring him here....then who did?" he asked, once it was stated the rest of them started to ask who and why he was brought here, wanting their questions answered with a demand. Jefferson slowly placing his hand down he then felt a draft of bone chilling wind enter the room followed by the back doors bursting open to reveal a man whom the town had been talking about, Jefferson still standing amongst the crowed as it gone completely silent put on a horrifying expression to match the crowd around him as he slowly turned to face Mr.Hyde.
His eyes following Hyde as he made his way into the room, he then slowly sat back down within his chair as if to sit with caution from disturbing the quietness that enclosed them. Viewing the hushed audience around him he noticed Robin within the back clutching his bow and arrow steadily as if waiting for the right moment to shoot, this was about to get even more dramatic then the hatter could hope for. It was maddening to see such events unfold, and in this moment he couldn't have been more happier to be playing the right hand man of this commotion, he then casually and seemingly daring stood up amongst the rest of the crowd once again as he kept his eyes upon Hydes. "Mr.Hyde...was it?" he stated out loud as the rest of the town looked upon him as if he was mad for even daring to speak with the enemy, he cleared his throat as if he too was scared of the man before him. "Hi...Jefferson here...we just have a few needed answers for all these questions...what makes you a fitted man for the position of mayor?" he asked him daringly, knowing it may upset him, but it was all part of the act.

To be honest, Emma's presence there was the one thing keeping her together, the only reason why she didn't cast one of her fireballs right towards Grumpy and whoever tried to question her on that exact moment. So when Emma told her to calm down, Regina looked to the side, into Emma's eyes. She huffed but eventually kept it together for now, taking a seat again on the table and listening to Emma's next words. And even though this was the Savior talking, people seemed to still be conflicted, wondering if she was actually right, if they could indeed do something to protect them.
At the same time as this happened, a presence was felt inside the room. Regina turned her gaze towards the person and her eyes widened when realizing it who it was. "What are you doing here?" She threw at him, about to stand up again, but she felt Emma grabbing her hand, almost as if motioning for her not to. The tension was clear around the room, around everyone inside it, Regina even realizing that Robin now had a grip on his bow, in case anything was to go down. The Queen narrowed her eyes, listening to his speech, rolling them every now and then. "Who said that anyone here is interested in what you have to say?" She questioned with a snarl. But right after that, Jefferson stood up and asked him questions himself, Regina realizing that those same questions had sparkled the interest and curiosity of everyone present.
